It was not the day the Acting club was on but it did not mean that Cameron could not go there and practice for the audition of the play Romeo and Juliet that they were going to do. Cameron had decided to try audition for the part of Romeo, he was confident in his ability to be able to get the part, but a little bit more practice would not hurt. He had made sure to tell his dad where he was going and a friend of his had accompanied him, he was somewhere in the theatre doing a few things so he would be along later to listen. Cameron did not really mind if he came to listen or not he just knew his dad would of freaked if he had gone by himself, he would of been forever worrying about him thinking he would be getting hurt or something.
Cameron walked into the room were the stage was, he looked around it was very quiet but then that was to be expected seeing as there was no one actually here apart from him. Taking another quick glance around he rushed up to the stage and made sure everything was in its place, where it usually was. He pretended there was an audience then started speaking in a Romeo like voice "Draw, Benvolio; beat down their weapons. Gentlemen, for shame, forbear this outrage!"

O NLY SHOOTING STARS » "It's too noisy! Please, can we go wait somewhere else? " Silas pleaded, clinging to his older brother's arm. Kade glanced down at the blond boy, then scoffed his disapproval. Why did he have to be such a baby? So what if they arrived too early for the movie? They had enough money to buy popcorn and candy while they waited. Besides. It wasn't that loud, was it? A sudden mix between a scream and a laugh, from a giggly girl who apparently, felt she had to be vocal to get her boyfriend to stop tickling her, made him wince and realize he was wrong. Maybe it was a little loud. " Okay, okay, we'll go."Kade nodded. He shook his brother off his arm, then grabbed tightly to the six year old's hand. " Don't let go, S.J." He tugged his brother along, out of the main lobby. Kade had no idea where he was going, but on he walked until he reached the regular sort of arts theater. Well, it'd be quiet there... He tugged his brother in, surprised to see a kid on the stage saying something. What was that? Kade shushed his brother, then got closer so he could hear what the boy said. ✘silasandkinkade [/blockquote] « BREAK THE MOLD ![/blockquote]

Cameron loved it in the theatre it made him feel more alive and even more himself than anywhere else, be that school, outside on the streets or even at home. Here he good let himself be free be anyone he wanted, he could add himself into his acts if he wanted to, but he felt to play the person he had to be the person in soul and body, he had to have that emotion that the character would display or even hide. Here he could be Romeo here he could be King henry just about anyone he wanted to be, even a donkey if need be not that it would be a fitting part. The Theatre to Cameron was what paper was to a writer or a poet, what the musical instrument was to a musician. It could also be seen as being him, it was just something that maybe embodied him, it suited him.
"Alive, in triumph! and Mercutio slain! Away to heaven, respective lenity, And fire-eyed fury be my conduct now!" Cameron stopped for a moment and waited for the moment that Tybalt would walk in, he then started again. "Now, Tybalt, take the villain back again, That late thou gavest me; for Mercutio's soul Is but a little way above our heads, Staying for thine to keep him company: Either thou, or I, or both, must go with him." He finished the lines, but as he said them the words held power and the emotion of Romeo at the moment in time, Cameron felt now as if he was Romeo. he was about to do something else when he noticed two others one younger than him and the other looked around his age but not quiet. he smiled softly so they knew he was not unhappy about being disturbed before sitting down on the stage.

O NLY SHOOTING STARS » Kade found himself so interested in the words that he let go of his brother's hand. Silas glanced up at him, curious, but nothing telling showed in his expression so Silas lost interest. Instead he watched the boy on stage. Truthfully the six year old had no idea what he was even saying. He used words the six year old had certainly never heard. And the names? He had no idea they were names. When the boy finished and sat down, Silas climbed onto the stage (much to Kade's dismay) to approach the sitting figure.
"Hey... Are you speaking English, mister?"Silas questioned. The fact that he was calling another kid mister didn't seem to bother him (it was better than sir- he called all the adults and teens sir). Kade groaned with annoyance at his brother's silly question before he climbed up on the stage himself and stood behind him.✘silasandkinkade « BREAK THE MOLD ![/blockquote]

Cam could tell the two were brothers, they looked similar , not too similar that they were twins but similar enough to be brothers. He would of continued on with what he was doing but he had finished the main bit of what he wanted to do, otherwise he would of continued no mater who was here. He had no idea how much the two heard but he could tell the one that seemed too him to be around his age had enjoyed it. When he sat down he watched carefully as the youngest boy climbed on the stage to come talk to him.
Cameron smiled when the boy asked him a silly question, he did not judge because he did that wen he was that age as well, plus he still did for a few things now, everyone asked a silly question every once in a while. he was however not entirely sure on what to say though because to him it was English as plain as day, but he was not sure what a younger mind than his own young would think. He decide on something to say to help the boy along a bit "It old English, used in days gone by, the English has changed now we speak differently from then." He said to the boy hoping that he had understood that, he had ignore the mister comment he did not like it though it made him sound old. He looked at the other boy who was standing behind him. "The names Cameron Henri Fair yours," he asked the eldest boy.

O NLY SHOOTING STARS » Old English? Why did there have to be an old English? Silas glanced at his brother for clarification but Kade was watching the other boy, so he didn't ask.
"Oh. "Silas agreed. Now that Kade was by him, he felt compelled to hold his hand again. While this boy wasn't unkind or in anyway scary, Silas was still anxious by nature now that the bravery his question prompted was gone. Kade didn't seem to mind holding Silas' hand this time- it made him feel better, too, because he was responsible for the little boy. " I'm Kade. Kade Gabriel. And he's Silas."Kade explained, gesturing toward his brother when he said his name. " What play is that?" Obviously he wasn't an expert if he didn't recognize Romeo and Juliet, but he'd only been to a few plays. And it was only because his parents felt he was old enough for it (even though he, himself, didn't quite understand what was going on most of the time). ✘silasandkinkade [/blockquote] « BREAK THE MOLD ![/blockquote]

"It's Romeo and Juliet." Esther's soft voice drifted onto the stage. She was mostly hiding backstage, but her head could be seen, her blond curls floating around her face and her gentle, doe-like eyes were watching the boys shyly. "And I'm too little to be Juliet, but I do want to have a part in the play, so I learned some of her lines." she smiled, and stepped onto stage. She wasn't in a specific constume, because she wasn't sure what part she wanted to be, but she was in an old-looking dress that was simple, blue, with some lace along the edges. "And it looks like you are going to be Romeo. That's nice, you sure are good. 'I'll look to like, if looking liking move: But no more deep will I endart mine eye Than your consent gives strength to make it fly." she recited, trying her best to sound like how she imagined Juliet's voice would sound. She than blushed, shuffling her feet shyly, as she remembered that these boys were much older than her. "M-my name is Esther. N-n-nice to meet you." Esther stammered, not looking at the boys.

Cameron watched the two brothers Kade and Silas, they seemed to get on with each other well, he got on with his brother but the problem was for him they maybe close but they were not close enough for Cameron to be able to look after him like Kade seems to be doing with Silas, he was too competitive with his brother anyway if he took him out somewhere he would of have found away to do something competitive so that just would not work. Cameron had noticed Silas who had asked him the question, was a little less braver than he was a moment ago.
When Kade mentioned there names he smiled again "Nice names and it's nice to meet you." he said he would of stuck out his hand but another voice interrupted his chain of thoughts. The voice announced to them what play it was which caused Cameron's head to turn in the direction of a girl. He listened to her talk she was young and she wanted to be one of the lead roles, a bit like he did when he was that age. Cameron stood up and beamed at her compliment then listened to her do her lines. Once she finished he nodded then spoke "Your amazing but you need more Emotion in it you got her voice right," he said to her, calmly she herself was beautiful but he chased that thought away because of how hold he was and how young she was.
"Mines Cameron nice to meet you Esther," Cameron thought for a second then walked over to Esther showing her a small scene. "Do you think you could do the one from there ?" he asked her still calmly before starting from the bit where Romeo and Julet met
"If I profane with my unworthiest hand This holy shrine, the gentle fine is this: 720 My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss."

Esther nodded at the advice Cameron gave her, and blushed again when he complimented her. "I think so." she agreed quietly to Cameron's question, and listened intently to the lines he spoke. Once he was finished, she paused for a few seconds to think of what lines she was to say. When she remembered them, she spoke in a loud, clear voice,(much unlike her usual, quiet voice)and tried to mimick Juliet's voice while saying it with emotion, like he had suggested. "Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much, Which mannerly devotion shows in this; For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch, And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss."

O NLY SHOOTING STARS » Silas jumped when the girl appeared. Where had she come from? The grasp on his brother's hand got tighter as if it'd keep him safe. Kade grumbled something inaudible at him for holding on so tight, but he didn't make him let go. He was too busy listening to the girl recite lines. Silas was certainly not as entertained as Kade. He let his gaze wander from the two on the stage and from his brother to the curtains of the stage. They looked soft. Maybe, if Kade would just let go, he'd go see them-
"C'mon, "Kade murmured suddenly. Silas glanced up at him curiously before stumbling as his brother led him to the stage's edge. Kade was getting out of the way so that the two- Esther and Cameron- could go on with their lines unhindered. Silas sighed as Kade sat down. Fine. He'd sit, but this was so boring! He should have just stayed in the loud lobby. ✘silasandkinkade [/blockquote] « BREAK THE MOLD ![/blockquote]

Cameron's eyes widened further as he listened to Esther reply to him, she may be young but she was was good he felt like he was talking to a girl version of him when he was that age. she used the emotions of the words with such power and Juliet down to a T, obviously she used the voice of Juliet in her own way just like he did, which was good because what was one thing you should never do is try to be someone eases version of the characters, always be yourself and your own version. If you did not sue your own version no matter how hard you try and how well you do it just wont work whatsoever.
"Your well I don't know what to say, all I can really say is that your certanally going to get the part, the auditions are tomorrow by the way, take it you came to practice as well?" he would love her to be Juliet she would make really great Juliet from what he had just heard. he turned to look at kade "what do you think?" he asked him. He could tell kade was almost mesmerized by the performance.

O NLY SHOOTING STARS » "I think you're both amazing. "Kade answered with a grin. Silas tugged his hand away, managing to weasel out of his brother's grasp. He scurried off, across the stage, to hide within the folds of the stage curtains. Theater technicians probably would have yelled at him to be careful (those were far too expensive for him to be playing around) but it seemed now was a safe time to explore. Kade glanced in his direction before he disappeared, but he was sort of relieved. " Do you practice a lot to remember all those lines?"Kade questioned. The only people he'd seen on stage with major lines were adults. Kids usually just danced or had small roles, so it was admirable that kids around his age could be as good as the adults were. ✘silasandkinkade [/blockquote] « BREAK THE MOLD ![/blockquote]

"Thanks!" Esther beamed at the compliments the older boys gave her. "Yes, I did come here to practice.I didn't really expect others to be here though. I've been practicing a lot since I heard about this play, and even though I don't really understand a lot of the things that are being said, I've really enjoyed it. But do you really think that I'll be able to get the part? I'm so small, there's bound to be other girls that are wanting the role as Juliet." she looked worried. In answer to Kade's question, she said, "You do have to practice a lot, and these lines are pretty hard, so it takes a lot of time. But it'll all be worth it in the end, I'm sure."

"Yeah every day, and ive been at this I believe since Esther's age maybe a little younger, got at least three major rules and two sidekick roles," He mentioned to Kade quite proudly, he was proud of those achievements, it was something that meant a lot to him to be able to get these parts, plus it boosted the confidence in himself a lot more, which could actually be a bad thing even more so when he loses or does not get something, Cam is a seriously bad loser so its not good to be around him at that point.
Cam turned to Esther and grinned again "yeah you will get it being small does not matter, plus most of the people auditioning are from the club I go to and you beat them by miles," he was not kidding her hard work obviously pays off as much as his does, he turned back to talk to Kade "Why don't you try to audition as someone?"

O NLY SHOOTING STARS » "Worth it? Because everyone gets to see you do a good job, and they all clap? "Kade questioned curiously. Why spending all that time studying words for a play would be 'worth' it, he couldn't understand, unless it was fun. Judging the two before him, they probably did think it was pretty fun. " Me?"Kade echoed before shaking his head. " I don't think I could remember all those words and when to say them." It'd be better to leave the acting to them. Maybe when he was older. As confident as he was, he had no idea how to go about memorizing things like that. But maybe it'd give him a chance to make friends with Cameron and Esther. Maybe it was worth attempting sometime. He didn't revies his answer, though, because it was still true- he probably couldn't. ✘silasandkinkade [/blockquote] « BREAK THE MOLD ![/blockquote]
